Took a trip around the island this weekend, went up to Coombs, and to Deep Cove. It was great getting to spend some time with my mom. Haven't had the chance to make it to Coombs in years, it was still as quaint as I remembered and the mini doughnuts were still as hot and sweet! We also spent some time in Cathedral Grove, but a lot of the trees were down from the last big storm they had. Can't wait for our next island adventure together.
